If your dog is exhibiting one or more of these problems, We Can Help!

    Consults

Often behavioral concerns, training issues or many other problems can be successfully eliminated after one consult, lesson combination. We recommend that in most situations you schedule a consult with us for you and your pet. This option allows us to better advise you regarding the type of training best suited for you and you dog.

    Private Lessons

We know that the best environment to learn in is private one on one sessions. All of the training we provide is done in a quiet, calm setting, allowing both you and your dog the opportunity to focus on the specific curriculum presented during the session.
We offer package prices for 5 or more sessions.
A few of our happy clients after five lessons!

    Boarded Training

We offer a board and train option for those clients that either don't have enough time or would prefer that we perform the initial foundation training for them. The basic program is a three week minimum, covering Heel, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Thirty Minute Down, Doors, Entries, and Gates, as well as covering basic behavioral issues. The program includes three private lessons so we can teach you the proper way to handle and continue working with your dog when its time to go home.

What training method do you use?

We don't use any single method. There is not one that works well for all dogs. Food may be a good approach for most baby puppies, but will not produce the best long term results for most adult dogs. Our training is balanced with proven results.

I want to take my puppy to a class for socializing, why don't you offer classes?

Socialization occurs naturally, as you, your family, and guests interact with the puppy. The puppy will learn from you the pack leader about how it should act in different situations. Classes are often not the optimal environment to learn in. That is the reason we offer Private Puppy Consults.

What is the best age to begin training?

Learning begins the moment you meet your pet. We recommend that you begin training as qwuickly as possible so that you correctly shape your pets behavior. We begin formal training as early as 4 months and offer puppy consults for those pups under 4 months.

My dog/puppy (list your problem), when will he/she grow out of it?

This is a common trap, believing that unwanted behaviors will get better with age. Dogs do what they do because it works. They won't grow out of it but all to often will grow into the behavior. We teach all of our clients how to block unwanted behaviors and is the foundation of our puppy programs.

My dog is really sweet, but sometimes is really aggressive, what can we do?

You are not alone, 80% of our consults are for aggression based issues. We know that aggression stems from a combination of genetics and environmental conditioning and with proper management, can be eliminated, or at least controlled. We have a great track record of resolving aggression problems by teaching you how to create order within your pack, and usually within a few short sessions.
